This historic building was once the US Post Office for the area, and for many years a grocery store. It is remodeled, but the wonderful features of the past are still evident today... from the exposed brick wall, to the original side alcoves, and the exterior Dentil molding. It has been well loved by generations who visited it for mail, groceries, goodies and of course great conversation. Everything has been completely redone since 2017. It was gutted and had 100% new electric and plumbing installed along with new roof, new floor (including joists), new windows and doors, new insulation, sheetrock, paint, and new drop ceiling. Mini split unit provides heat and A/C with backup electric baseboard heat. The 3 ft thick brick walls provide good insulation in the summer and the big open windows allow wonderful solar hear in the winter. The exterior of the north side was just redone with steel siding and soffit. Full rock wall basement underneath with new trap door and sturdy staircase. Also on site is a working gas pump and 2000 gallon underground storage tank that provides fuel sales 24 hours a day for customer convenience and gives the owner the ability to earn some extra money. It is run by an indoor POS system that allows for full customization for any type of sales. Pump outside is credit card access and interior system allows for cash or credit. Cash drawer, card reader, skew reader, printer, and all technology included. The building is small but could be a great coffee shop, a beauty/nail salon, pizza shop, dog grooming, retail bakery, insurance office, photo studio, tackle/bait shop, small convenience store, or anything else you could imagine. It also has drive up possibilities and multiple sinks to meet health codes for various businesses. The bathroom is handicap accessible.
